Meet The Horses At Horse Country Carriage Co. & Tours: Duke and Doc are on site celebrities, making their film debut in the “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides“. You will find them in the second scene of the movie galloping with the stage coach into the castle.
They were most recently on The History Channel show Mountain Men – Season 3 Episode 1 which aired on June 1, 2014. Mountain Man Tom Oar is father to Horse Country Carriage Company president, Chad Oar. In this episode, Tom drove Duke n Doc around our farm during his trip to Florida, where he was mulling retirement and moving to the area. Libby and Luther, are our newest addition. Their personality and eagerness to travel make them a fun team to ride along with, as it is not unusual for them to whinny to their friends in the pastures along the way.
Tiny Prince Charming technically is not very tiny, standing at 18.3 hands tall, but is full of charm. He loves attention, so be sure to say hello to him and bring him a treat when we are at Brownwood in the The Villages!
Chip and Dale, are an adorable pair of palomino ponies that are fun for all ages, but especially perfect for carriage rides at children’s parties. Their pint size hitch wagon is reminiscent of the Budweiser beer wagon, maybe they should have been named Bud & Light. They are truly a delight for all.
